Ay ay ay

I almost didn't move into the second phase of training. Yes, though I have an advanced degree I have difficulty understanding a concept as simple as a calendar. This is where sometimes I think I might be a natural blonde under all of these highlights. Let's go back in time, shall we?

A)Facilitator informs us that UOP weeks begin on Tuesday and end on Monday. Now why the University has to reinvent the calendar is beyond me.

i) We have two forums: Chat and Main. Participation or attendance is counted by the following :

a) 3-5 substantive messages (quality over quantity) in 5 out of 7 days of the week which begins on Tuesday and ends on Monday. Chat room doesn't count.
b) You cannot miss two consecutive days in a row in the given Tuesday - Monday week. That will affect your training score.
c) You cannot make up the messages. If you posted only 2 on a given day, it won't count as participation.
d) Answers to the initial questions are not counted as a substantive message, as the initial response is required.

If you haven't fallen asleep by now, can you tell that I was confused by the Tuesday through Monday week? In my defense, we receive a course calendar, which has the assignments due for the weeks, but there are 9 days where assignments are due and 5 blank days. So you would think, "Well I don't have to log in then, right?" Wrong! You still have to. The first week I misunderstood because I thought we simply had to check in. I was told I had to check in more. The second week I screwed up because I thought since we wrapped up, I was through. After all, isn't that what "wrap up" means? Oh, silly wabbit, no. It means you still have to participate to be counted. So after clearing that up, I decided I will log in and post until people get sick of seeing my name in the forums or until I pass, whichever comes first. I may be a bimbo, but I am definitely qualified to do this, and I haven't been this confident since I walked out in the hallway chest out and Leyla Lopez snickered that I was showing off the boobs I didn't have. And there went my confidence, like a renegade balloon when it escapes your lips as you are trying to blow it up. Damn Leyla and her "mean girl" counterparts.
